Ranks Within The Regions
Leader
One of the highest and most respected of ranks within the regions, leaders work to guide their regions towards peace and away from threats. They are responsible for performing ceremonies regarding ranking and lead their regions into battle if needed. They are trained to be prepared to make near impossible decisions. They also work as the "chief" healer, knowing the most there is to know about herbal remedies and wounds. Leaders also speak to spirits through dreams and visions, with which sometimes contain prophecies and/or omens that are important for the region's survival.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Any

Adviser
Advisors are the second highest ranked cats within the regions. As their job, they are to make sure the Leaders' commands are carried out and to report back as soon as possible. They also lead the region if the Leader is unable to at times. If the Leader is to die or retire, the Advisor has the duty to step up and take their place. They are typically picked at a young age, from 7 to 13 moons when a leader dies and the advisor becomes leader, needing to pick a new advisor. If the region is in peril though, the new advisor is more likely to be an older and more experienced healer whom has already been taught in the ways of medicine.

Healers
Healers are cats that learn and put to use the knowledge of natural medicines and cure injuries. Their sole purpose is to heal cats. They are granted great respect because of what they do and typically are chosen based on their element. Cats with the element of water, light or nature are more common healers. Because there are usually at least two healers (and they usually have rookies), healers are allowed to have mates and kits.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Light, water, nature

Tamers
Tamers are cats with special psychic abilities or a talent that allow them to control and "tame" animals better than any other cat. Tamers are the cats that domesticate companions to be pets for other cats, and teach other cats how to treat and take care of their companion.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Psychic

Warriors
Warriors are the regions' both offensive and defensive fighting forces. They are trained to fight in battle, but to also protect their region. They are the ones that go on patrols, guard camp, and chase intruders off the territory. They also guard the hunters while they search for prey. They fight with honor and are taught to have mercy for their opponents.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Any except psychic

Hunters
Hunters hunt for food within their territory and take the prey they catch back to camp to be eaten. They are trained to have excellent stalking and pouncing skills. Some even have psychic abilities that allow them to stretch their senses farther across the territorie(s). Most are also taught some defensive moves though, should they ever be attacked by someone or something if they don't have a warrior with them, or if there is more than one threat that their warrior can't handle. They are taught not to fight but to defend themselves well enough until they can run away.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Psychic, any

Searchers
Searchers are special cats with the knack for tracking, tracing, and revealing. They are given an invisible license (a sworn oath) by the Leader of their region, deeming them "Regional Stone Searchers". They have a job to search for the pieces of the Sacred Stone and find ability stones. Searchers are taught to collect stones and bring them back to the region's camp for inspection by their Leader and Advisor. They usually have some kind of a backpack or pouch to carry their findings in.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Nature, any

Crafters
Crafters are well taught in the art of crafting and creating items and accessories the the ability stones and supplies the other ranks bring back from their patrols, hunts, or searchings. Crafters have very skilled paws and are very knowledgeable when it comes to the ways of craftsmanship. Their job is to make these items and be able to trade them among each other. With this, trade will continue to grow and regions will be able to expand their knowledge. They will be able to get materials that they might not have in their region. A good crafter is one that can be proud of their work.

Elementals best suited for this rank: Earth, mud, ice

Rookies
Rookies are younger cats whom start training at the age of 6 moons . They are given a guide who teaches them what they need to know and are expected to train hard for the sake of the spirits. Once their guide believes they're ready to become a full rank (which is usually right around 12 to 14 moons old), they must undergo assessments. If they pass, they become the regions' new Healers, Tamers, Warriors, Hunters, Searchers, and Crafters. When they are given a guide, they are also given their first ability stone, and when they graduate from rookieship, they get a second ability stone.

This trial is dependant on the rank the Rookie is training in; if they complete the trial and show all the skills they've learnt, they will become a full-ranking member of the Region. The following trial tasks are as follows:

Healer Rookie:
Healer Rookies must memorise every single herb they have been taught and re-enact a worst case scenario with an acting participant without any help.

Tamer Rookie:
Tamer Rookies will be given a wild large companion to train within a three day period without any help.

Warrior Rookie:
Warrior Rookies must battle against their own Guide and either win or show as much skills they can in order to prove their value on the battlefield.

Searcher Rookie:
Searcher Rookies are assigned to find a specific item within their territory with a couple of fellow Rookies or on their own within a two day period.

Hunter Rookie:
Hunter Rookies are assigned to hunt a specific creature and return it to camp alive to prove they didn't find one dead and picked it up to cheat.

Crafter Rookie:
Crafter Rookies must create an original item using only three materials given to them. They will also be assessed on their use of ability too.

Kits
Kits are the youngest of the regions, ranging from a newborn to 6 moons old. They are the future of the region and are protected under careful watch by their elders. Kits do not have responsibilities or jobs. They are meant to play and have fun, but also learn from their mothers and elders' stories that teach them proper morals and attributes. Almost every kit has a small mark on one of their paws that shows which elemental powers they have inherited. This mark does not reveal itself until the kit is 5 to 6 moons though.

:new:To move a Kit up to a Rookie: Pick 2 of the 3 options below.
1. Submit your character coming out of the Nursery for the first time
2. Submit your character playing with their parents, siblings, and/or friends
3. Submit your character meeting the Leader for the first time
Not Optional:
Submit your character graduating to become a rookie/obtaining their first ability stone
Also to be sure to submit at least 2 roleplays with +2 people, 3 posts each.

Queens
Queens are she-cats whom are expecting or nursing kits. They are to take care of their kits, as well as themselves, and to keep a watchful eye on them. They are not only responsible for their own kits, but other kits as well. It is their job to protect the kits at any cost, even if it means costing them their lives. Queens must raise their kits well.

Elders
Elders are retired cats who are either too old or just not capable of providing for their region. They are tended to by Rookies in thanks for their hard work and loyalty and enjoy telling stories to kits and rookies. They are the ones that pass down history. They pass down their knowledge to cats younger so that when they die, the legacy will still continue.
Cats that retire from old age are usually 96-108 moons (8-9 years) when they first become elders.

Ranks Within the Followers
The Followers are a secretive band of cats who follow the beliefs of Bane. They're mostly normal region cats going undercover in search for the Sacred Stone. Should they get their paws on the stone, the whole world would be out of balance and the dark spirits would rise into the living. The majority of them have been tricked into following Bane's teachings or were brought up by Followers and know nothing else to believe. The ones that actually do know the real reason Bane wants the Sacred Stone, are vicious, blood-thirsty and want nothing more than to cause suffering and chaos for the region cats. They don't believe in the good spirits and only want the dark spirits to rule.

Lord/Lady
The Leader of the Followers, the Lord or Lady are responsible for keeping the group in check as well as giving out commands. Their word is law, and those who oppose them are evidently met with the most harshest of punishments: death. The Lord or Lady were most likely the Captain in their previous ranks before their predecessor either passed away or they succeeded in challenging their authority to gain power. Although in times where the Captain declines the opportunity normal ranking Followers or Bounty Hunters fight to see who shall lead next. Because of this though, the Followers tend to fear their leader and rarely do they ever challenge them to gain the highest position of power. Their main duties other than giving out orders though is to perform rituals for coming-of-age kits/Initiates or offering some prey for Bane once a moon.

Elements best suited for this rank: Dark, any except Light

Captain
Though considered the Followers second-in-command due to the Captain usually preceding the previous Lord or Lady (if they desire; they can decline if they so wish), this rank is a whole entire leader role on its own. Considering this rank is the leader of the Bounty Hunters (and thus has more control over those cats then the main leader does), the Captain is exempt from the main laws and can defy the Lord/Lady's own authority. Although occasionally they will obey commands if absolutely necessary and if the Lord/Lady is absent, then they can take charge so long as they aren't challenged. Of course, the rules for the next Bounty Hunter Captain is the same for the Lord/Lady if ever they passed on or were defeated by the challenger. And just like the leader, the Captain is feared by many below authority.

Elements best suited for this rank: Dark, any except Light

Bounty Hunters
The elite fighting force, this small group of cats are hand-picked by the Captain themselves if they show any proving qualities during their time as a normal ranking Follower. Considering they are a separate force from the main ring of Followers, the Bounty Hunters only listen to their Captain's commands and are exempt from the normal law of Bane. Any Initiates training under a Bounty Hunter though have a low life expectancy and even if they do make it, they will still join the ranks of a normal Follower. Furthermore, Bounty Hunters are usually the most skilled of combatants and killers as well as the one's the Spies report to first.

Elements best suited for this rank: Any but Light and Psychic

Spies
Just as valuable as the Bounty Hunters, but below normal Followers at the same time. Spies usually consist of normal Region cats who have turned over to the teachings of Bane and embraces the dark. Although they aren't considered full members of the Followers unless they find the camp and succeed in the "initiation test", the Spies are cats who pass on important information that may come in handy for the Followers via telling a Bounty Hunter at an arranged meeting point. There are four Spies in total, one for each Region.

Elements best suited for this rank: Any

Followers
The normal ranks of the group, the Followers are cats skilled in fighting, hunting, searching, taming, and crafting - basically everything the Regions have combined into one rank. Although each cat will have their own different strengths in the different areas they are expected to know how to fend for themselves as well as feed themselves. After all, the Followers believe in a "survival of the fittest" lifestyle, so knowing both is more useful then taming, crafting or searching. The most skilled of these cats may sometimes be awarded with the rank of Bounty Hunter too...

Elements best suited for this rank: Any except Light

Initiates
Just like the Regions Rookies, the Initiates are cats aged between 6-14 moons that are assigned a mentor who trains them in the ways of survival. Normally these cats would have already learned the basics from their moons as a kit, so they are instantly moved to more challenging lessons in both combat and defence, hunting, and other minor abilities. Just like Rookies, Initiates are given their first ability stone during their ceremony and receive one after they have completed their training. Most of the time a Follower trains an Initiate, but there are rare occasions where a Bounty Hunter is given an Initiate; although be warned! It is rare for an Initiate to survive their combat training with a Bounty Hunter due to it being intense and risky.

To move an Initiate up to Follower: Pick 1 out of the 4 options below.
1. Practising battle skills with other Initiates
2. Failing to catch something
3. Practising their stealth
4. Fighting a rival and winning

Not Optional:
1. Obtaining a new ability stone
2. First training session with Guide
3. 3 RPs with +2 people; 3 posts each
4. Ceremony

New-Bloods
Kits are the youngest of the Followers, ranging from a newborn to 6 moons old. They are the future of the Followers and are protected under careful watch by their mothers. Kits do not have responsibilities or jobs, although they are taught about the basics around the age of 4 moons. In the meantime they are meant to play and have fun, but also learn from their mothers stories that teach them about Bane's teachings. Almost every kit has a small mark on one of their paws that shows which elemental powers they have inherited. This mark does not reveal itself until the kit is 5 to 6 moons though.

:new:To move a New-Blood up to an Initiate: Pick 2 of the 3 options below.
1. Submit your character coming out of the Nursery for the first time
2. Submit your character playing with their parents, siblings, and/or friends
3. Submit your character meeting the Leader/Captain for the first time
Not Optional:
Submit your character graduating to become a rookie/obtaining their first ability stone
Also to be sure to submit at least 2 roleplays with +2 people, 3 posts each.

Queens
Queens are she-cats whom are expecting or nursing kits. They are to take care of their kits, as well as themselves, and to keep a watchful eye on them. They are not only responsible for their own kits, but other kits as well. It is their job to protect the kits at any cost, even if it means costing them their lives. Do the tasks it have to be a roleplay, or are we allowed to simply draw the task? I've tried contacting the owner of Metea's mentor a couple times with no success so I'm a bit confused on what to do aaa (I just tried to talk to them again so maybe I'll still be able to roleplay with them?? But just in case they don't respond again)
