Summary

"I thank you for your persistence and determination, but we cannot keep our lands any longer. The fires have laid claim to it and the air here will soon be thick with smoke, which means we must leave our homeland and go to the South if we wish to survive. We will be back one day to take our kingdom back, but today is not that day."
The West’s progress in putting the fires to an end has come to a halt and is now reversing, becoming even more worse than it was before. Any cat that were to stay in the territory would most certainly die if not of burns, but of smoke-inhalation. There is no safe place in the west lands anymore. Cronan has given orders to leave the region as quickly and unscathed as possible and to make their way to the South, where hopefully, they will be in less danger. Any cat old, sick, wounded, or young should be helped by any cat who is not. It is hoped that no lives are lost in this evacuation.


Blog Rules


What's a RP blog? A RP blog is a form of role-play that allows the player to interact with more than one person in the group. So basically, this is a whole group role-play that involves a more organised way to interact with each other than in a chat-room or the difficulty of fitting two more members via note role-play. These RP blogs will be more in use to do big group RPs involving any future plot/gathering. However, there are a few things you need to know about this form of role-play:

- When replying to a comment, please do not reply directly to that comment. Instead comment your reply as if it's a normal comment. This is so us admins and other players can see the comment instead of the one you directly replied to.

- Please, please keep checking back here! It wouldn't be fun for other members if you stopped replying back to them.

- All group rules apply to this blog, including role-play rules. So we expect proper grammar in all blogs. A few mistakes; however, are fine, but text writing or one line sentences aren't allowed.

- Any rank can join in this blog, everyone is evacuating so everyone is involved.

- Only West Region cats may begin the roleplay in this blog!

- South Region cats may enter the roleplay when prompted! The East cats have to make it to the border first.

- North and East Region cats may not participate. Sorry!

- Considering there is more than one Region RPing in these blogs, the use of the following bullets are to tell which cat is in which Region to avoid confusion. It is necessary you use them before typing each post:

:bulletgreen: = West Region

- This journal may be frequently updated with new conditions so keep a close eye! New dangers may arise and eventually the cats will reach the northern border and the cats of that region will be able to participate as well.

Location: The West is almost completely in flames; the fire has snaked down from the north and is circling around the new camp with no end in site

Time of Day: Dawn (Around 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. may go longer depending on how the story progresses)

Temperature: 13˚C (55˚F)

Pace of Flames: Quickening

Conditions: Even though attempts had been made, the West region’s fire did not cease. Late at night after the exhausted cats came back from their work, the flames grew back quickly in the northern land of the territory, unsupervised, and continued to wind south towards camp before it veered west-most and began to circle. By dawn the cats awake could smell smoke in the air; hot, and sparks and ash could be seen in the air falling from the ledge above. From their own cliff, they could see the orange glow of red tongues below licking their way closer, and the new morning light blackened. A shriek of panic split the air. Anyone not awake before was now. In fear of being suffocated in their new home, the word was given to evacuate. The fire was too close, and only getting closer. The tired cats are now exiting fast in an attempt to escape the flames and reach safer lands.

:new: After a couple of detours so they could dodge the flames, the smell of smoke is beginning to fade away as the tired cats get closer to the scathingly hot lands of the South. Be careful and don't get burned! Southerners may now join the RP!

The West is now almost completely in flames, forcing the cats to move to the heat-stricken South region! Be sure to take part in the roleplay below, and develop your characters and the relationships with the rest of the Region. Make sure you check back here for updates on the circumstance and good luck to anyone and everyone making their way to the South! Remember; if you have received an extension on the activity check, please make sure to finish it by the 15th! You will receive no further extension.

My apologies, I'm sorry this is pretty late!

Bullet; Red Jharain let out a content sigh as they continued walking, his smile only growing wider when Astrid said that having a companion was great, although the hardships that the she-cat described made him lower his ears in discontent. "I'm sorry that things were tough for the two of you - I'm sure Aliath wouldn't have liked the fires that you experienced...." he trailed off. Normally he would have chuckled after his statement, as he had often poked fun at his companion for her distaste for heat, but after the heat of the South Region has stolen Aliath from him the thought just made his chest twist up into a tight knot and his stomach ache. The silver-blue tom shook his head, jerked from his thoughts as he looked up ahead, having almost lost track of how long the three cats had been walking together.

"The camp's just up ahead, that's where all those cats are going." Jharain brought a purr up into his throat, doing his best to push aside the thoughts of his deceased companion and look, instead, to the bright future that lay ahead for the South and West region, together! 'Who knows... maybe Gwen and Astrid will stay here forever - they're both like family to me!' Jharain knew that it was foolish to think that the West Region would stay with the southerners forever, but the idea of spending his life in the company of old friends and new friends - and twice the amount of cats to find companions for  - sounded so wonderful. "We'll be there faster than a hummingbird!"
